Advanced Training for Pool Building Professionals
The Builders Institute is an intense, two-day program of advanced seminars for pool and spa builders covering a variety of topics that will give you the tools you need order to better navigate through the economic downturn and be well-position for success in an improving market. The seminar series features instructors who are nationally-recognized experts in pool design and engineering, as well as business marketing and sales.  Sponsored by the APSP Builder’s Council, this unique schedule of both technical and business seminars has been crafted by your industry colleagues who are committed to sharing their knowledge and experience with you.

You may register to take just the Builders Institute as part of your EXPO registration OR you may opt to combine attending the Institute with sitting for the CBP Certified Building Professional Exam.  This is a terrific opportunity to raise your professional profile in your market and set yourself apart from the competition.

Builder’s Institute and CBP Prep Course/Exam
While anyone can participate in the Builders Institute, please be aware that you must qualify to take the CBP exam. The program requirements are fully outlined and explained in the APSP CBP Application Package.  Download the application package now to get all the specifics about the exam, including sample questions and study tips, as well as the application form.  To qualify to sit for the exam you must have 5 or more years of pool/spa industry experience and document a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education (CE) credits accumulated over the past 3 years.  SPECIAL NOTE:  If you attend the CBP exam prep course (5 hours) and the Builders Institute (16 hours), those hours can be counted as 21 hours toward your 24 hour continuing education requirement.  This is a unique opportunity to qualify using CE credits earned immediately!
