DALLAS – September 7, 2011 – Offering an outstanding experience to meet the specific needs of advanced pool/spa builders, the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) will offer its flagship educational programs prior to the 2011 Int’l Pool | Spa | Patio Expo.  Making up part of the APSP Career Institute, these programs are the centerpiece of the Expo’s stellar line-up of educational offerings.

Presented by the APSP Builders Council, the APSP Builders Institute is an intense two-day program of seminars designed to be a transformational learning experience that will challenge the way attendees think and help them perform at the top of their game.

“The first day is all about the WOW factor and creating unforgettable, unrivaled pool and spa projects by implementing acrylic windows, after dark visual effects, unique waterproofing techniques and more,” said Bill Weber, President and CEO of APSP, the show’s official sponsor.  “The second day will help you focus your business strategy to get more leads, win more bids and discover new ways to communicate with and market to your customers.”

Classes on Monday, October 31, include, “Seeing Things Differently: Delivering a New Perspective with Pool Windows & Acrylic Panels,” “Incomparable After-Dark Visual Effects of Fire & Water,” “Bringing Fire to the People: Barbeques, Fireplaces & Outdoor Entertainment Systems,” and “Keeping Water Where It Belongs! A Pro’s Guide to Waterproofing.”

Classes on Tuesday, November 1, include, “Structure Your Marketing to Get the Leads That Others Don’t,” “Preparing for the Social Consumer: Social Media and Web Tools You Can Use Now,” “Why Sales People Fail at Selling Pools (Hint…It Is Not About Price),” “Selling & Winning:  Battling the Low Bids of Cash-Paying Competitors,” and “Selling and Building a ‘Million Dollar Pool.’”
