2010 INTERNATIONAL POOL | SPA | PATIO EXPO EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE
TO OFFER UNIQUE AND TIMELY INDUSTRY LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

DALLAS – August 6, 2010 – Pool, spa and backyard professionals who want to build a foundation of knowledge through an educational conference addressing emerging techniques, issues and trends, should plan to attend the 2010 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo, November 3-5, in the Bayside Halls at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada USA.

Properly addressing all facets of the industry, 50 unique seminars cover topics designed especially for residential and commercial builders/contractors, retailers, service companies and landscape architects/designers.

“Education is a vital component to growing a profitable business in today’s market,” said Donna Bellantone, Director of the Expo.  “The International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo’s cutting-edge educational conference seminars are taught by those who know the pool, spa and backyard industry best.”
Each seminar is classified by course levels, enabling attendees to customize training according to their level of skill and area of expertise.  There are five course levels ranging from 100 [beginner], 200 [advanced beginner], 300 [intermediate], 400 [advanced intermediate] and 500 [advanced].

75% of the 50 seminars feature topics infused with new, practical information.  Held Wednesday through Friday, most seminars are 90 minutes in length, allowing attendees ample time on the show floor to find new products, services, technologies and innovations.

"The educational conference program offers relevant and dynamic topics that cover fundamentals, best practices and advance applications,” said Bill Weber, President and CEO of APSP, the show’s official sponsor.  "Each seminar is designed to stimulate thinking and provide need-to-know strategies.”

Speakers
Providing attendees with the tools needed to build their businesses, the industry mavericks and world-renowned experts presenting cutting-edge seminars include Debbie Allen, Clay Nelson, Brian Van Bower, Rex Richard, Lew Akins, Scott Cohen, David Tisherman, Vance Gillette, Ron Lacher and  Samuel Salsbury, to name a few.  A complete list of speakers and seminars can be found at www.PoolSpaPatio.com/attendee.

Certification and Continuing Education Opportunities
Designed to help pool builders and service company professionals advance their businesses and careers, all of the 50 seminars have been certified by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals’ Certified Building Professional program [CBP] and/or Certified Service Professional [CSP].  In addition, all seminars have been approved by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training [IACET].

Registration Savings
As an effort to help attendees save money during tough economic times, registration rates did not increase this year.  All educational seminars are ticketed events and require registration.  Advanced pricing of conference registration packages range from $195 to $255 for a Super Pass and $115 to $140 for a Day Pass.  All conference packages include free admission to the Expo, one of the four Power Panels, the Welcome Party at Haze Nightclub, the APSP Live Workshops and the VGB Demonstrations.  Members of the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals [APSP] receive a discount on all packages.  Space in seminars is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Online registration is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week.  For more information, visit www.PoolSpaPatio.com/attendee or call 972.536.6350 or 888.869.8522.
