GENESIS 3 TO DEBUT THEIR DESIGN AND DRAWING PROGRAMS AT THE
2008 INTERNATIONAL POOL | SPA | PATIO EXPO

DALLAS -- August 15, 2008 -- Attendees at 2008 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo will have the opportunity to attend in-depth instructional sessions taught by the Genesis 3 Design Group, one of the industry's most-respected experts in watershape design and construction.

The Genesis 3 Design Schools and Perspective Drawing School are part of special high-level, pre-show educational programs held in conjunction with the Int’l Pool | Spa | Patio Expo, which combines the former Int’l Pool & Spa Expo, Backyard Living Expo and AQUA Show into a mega event offering attendees an intensive, high-energy conference to advance their businesses and careers.

The addition of the Genesis 3 programs have added a wide range of options to the Expo’s already strong line-up of educational offerings. While the Genesis 3 programs have been held in conjunction with past AQUA Shows, this will be the first time the schools are available to former Int’l Pool & Spa Expo and Backyard Living Expo attendees.

“Genesis 3 is pleased to be able to offer our design schools and perspective drawing class in conjunction with the new combined event,” said Brian Van Bower, President and Co-Founder of Genesis 3. “Expanding the potential audience for programs that elevate the level of performance and create more successful, rewarding projects, is a tremendous opportunity for our industry.”

The Genesis 3 Design Schools allow attendees to choose one from a selection of six 20-hour accredited courses including, “Elements of Design,” “Design Communication - Measured Perspective,” “Color Theory and Design Application,” “The History of Water in Architecture,”  “Understanding/Designing Fountains and Water Features,” and “Designing and Creating Natural Looking Ponds & Water Features.”

Held over 2 1/2 days, classes will be taught from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm on November 15, and from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm on November 16 and 17. Courses will be led by Kevin Fleming, Larry Drasin, Judith Corona, Mark Holden, Paul L’Heureux, David L’Heureux, Dan Netz, David Duensing, and Anthony Archer-Wills.

Admission to the Genesis 3 Design Schools also include a Super Pass, admission to the Expo, the Keynote by Bill Walton and the Welcome Party at TAO. The registration fee is $1,390 through October 7 and $1,590 beginning October 8. Design School registrants may also add the Executive Academy
package for only $100.

“The basis of the Genesis 3 educational courses is superiority in the three disciplines of design, mechanical and structural,” said Skip Phillips, Genesis 3 Co-Founder. “Attendees who take these courses will excel in all three areas, building a blueprint for success.”

The Genesis 3 Perspective Drawing School features a one-day, entry level course, “An Introduction to Basic Perspective Drawing,” that focuses on the essentials of one- and two-point perspective drawings, vanishing points, horizon lines and the circle of distortion. Held November 17, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, the course will be taught by David Tisherman, Genesis 3 Co-Founder, and Milt Dorsey of Terry Hines & Associates. All materials and supplies are included.

Admission to the Genesis 3 Perspective Drawing School also includes admission to the Expo, the Keynote by Bill Walton and the Welcome Party at TAO. The registration fee is $395 through October 7 and $425 beginning October 8.

The Genesis 3 classes are ticketed events and seating is limited, so early registration is encouraged. No substitutions will be honored for the Genesis 3 Design Schools and Perspective Drawing School. In addition, no refunds will be issued after November 3.

“Learning perspective drawing is a basic requirement for success in our industry,” said David Tisherman, Genesis 3 Co-Founder. “It takes time and practice, but for those who truly want to succeed and be financially successful, the Genesis 3 drawing and design programs are a requirement.”

The 2008 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo will take place November 18-20 [Tuesday - Thursday], at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada USA. To register for the event, visit www.PoolSpaPatio.com, or call 972.536.6350 or 888.869.8522 for more information.
