HOUSING NOW OPEN FOR THE 2011 INTERNATIONAL POOL | SPA | PATIO EXPO

DALLAS – July 25, 2011 – Attendees and exhibitors of the 2011 Int’l Pool | Spa | Patio Expo can now make housing and travel reservations through the official hotel vendor, Travel Planners.  Offering hotel, airline and car rental discounts through a variety of companies, Travel Planners offers the biggest savings and most valuable perks.

Taking place November 2 - 4, in the Bayside Halls at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada USA, the show will offer pool/spa builders, retailers, service companies, designers and landscape architects a comprehensive preview of the entire backyard living marketplace.

“We worked diligently with the hotels to ensure they offered the lowest possible rate,” said Lindsay Roberts, Director of the Expo.  “Attendees and exhibitors are encouraged to make their hotel reservations now to secure their preferred hotel."

The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino will serve as the headquarter hotel and the site of most APSP meetings and events.  Offering rates as low as $159 per night, this tropically themed hotel features a vast array of entertainment, dining and recreation experiences.  A separate all-suite tower, THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, offers a rate of $189 per night.

Excalibur Hotel & Casino offers rates as low as $55 per night.  Transporting guests back to the mythical days of King Arthur, the hotel features a gaming area, two swimming pools, five restaurants, two magic motion film rides, dozens of shops, and the Fantasy Faire Midway.

Luxor Hotel & Casino features rates as low as $85 per night.  The 30-story pyramid-shaped, architectural wonder, complete with a 110-foot Sphinx guarding the entrance, features a gaming area, eclectic restaurants, an IMAX® theater and top-notch entertainment.

The MGM Grand Hotel offers rates as low as $139 per night.  The hotel is the home of premier shows, live concerts, award winning restaurants and the exciting nightlife.

New York-New York Hotel & Casino features rates as low as $105 per night.  Bringing the magic of the original “city that never sleeps” to the Nevada desert, guest will enjoy 300-foot-long replica of the Brooklyn Bridge, as well as its re-creation of Wall Street and other traditional New York landmarks.

Bluegreen Club 36 offers rates as low as $85 per night.  The resort name and design were inspired by the age of Parisian Art Deco, which reached its height of popularity in 1936.  The fun, funky colors and style reflect the functional, lavish and ultra modern design of this era.

Attendees and exhibitors will have easy transportation access to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center with the complimentary tram that runs between the Mandalay Bay, Excalibur and Luxor hotels.

“A new Las Vegas policy being implemented this year is the mandatory daily resort fee of $12.50 to $20.00 plus tax that will be added to room rates at all properties except Bluegreen Club 36,” said Roberts.  “This resort fee includes: in-room wireless internet, cardio center access, daily newspaper, local and 800-number calls, outgoing faxes and boarding pass printing.”

American, Air Canada, Continental and Delta will serve as official airlines, offering service from destinations nationwide to Las Vegas’ McCarran Airport.  Discounts are available off published airfares and based on availability, offering the most cost efficient travel route to the show.

Avis and Enterprise offer discounted car rental rates to help show participants get around Las Vegas easily.

To secure the best rates, show participants must book through our online reservation system at www.tphousing.com [or https://www.tphousing.com/r/startres.asp?EICode=2181&AttCode=72 if printing online].  Reservations may be made online 24-hours a day, seven days a week, or by calling 800.221.3531 during the hours of 9:00 am - 7:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday.

As the only official housing provider for the Int'l Pool | Spa | Patio Expo, Travel Planners is the only company that can sell rooms in the official housing blocks.  Attendees and exhibitors are encouraged not to use other housing providers to secure rooms.

“Offering an alternative to taxis, Ambassador/Ritz offers discounted shuttles to all preferred hotels,” said Lindsey Moeller, Show Manager.  “For best savings, attendees and exhibitors are encouraged to purchase the shuttle transfer ticket online before they arrive in Las Vegas.”  Shuttle tickets are available for purchase at https://www.shuttlelasvegas.com/?promocode=PSPE.
