2009 INTERNATIONAL POOL | SPA | PATIO EXPO TO FEATURE AN
ARRAY OF SHOW FLOOR EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
DALLAS – November 5, 2009 – With more options than ever before, backyard professionals attending the 2009 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo will have an array of exciting, action-packed show floor educational opportunities and pavilions to choose from. Being held November 16-18, 2009, the show will take place in the Bayside Halls at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada USA. The educational conference will be held November 13-18.
"We are thrilled to be able to provide so many options at this year's show," said Donna Bellantone, Director of the Expo. "These features give the show a more action-oriented, hands-on format, giving attendees a chance to actively participate in the event."
VGB Education & Product Pavilion
The new VGB Education & Product Pavilion has been created for attendees looking for VGB Safety Act-related products such as anti-entrapment drain covers, safety devices, fences and more. Located on the show floor, attendees will also be able to hear 30-minute vendor presentations from Pentair Water Pool and Spa, Waterway Plastics, Payan Pool Service, Lawson Aquatics, Vac-Alert Industries, A. O. Smith and the APSP Technical Committee.
Product Showcase
Attendees looking for the hottest industry trends and the latest environmentally-friendly products should stop by this pavilion devoted to new, cool and green products. Sponsored by AQUASALT, participating exhibitors include Cal Spas, Zodiac Pool Systems, BioGuard, Advantis, Aqua Products, Enersol Solar Products, Gecko Alliance, King Technology, Pristiva and Strong Pools & Spas, just to name a few. A panel of industry experts will select the “Best New Product,” which will be awarded to first, second and third place winners by Show Management on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 18.
Backyard Living Pavilion
This dedicated area is where dynamic products, resources and information from every segment of the backyard living industry will be on display. Participating exhibitors include Bull Outdoor Products, Sunset Swings, Summerset Outdoor Furnishings, Fire Magic Grills, Real-Frye Gas Logs, Big Green Egg, Hearth Products Controls, Superior International Industries, Meadow Décor, RAM Outdoor Décor, Summit Appliance-Danver Kitchens, as well as many others.
Genesis 3 Pavilion
This pavilion is where attendees will find products and services especially for builders, designers and the watershape industry. Companies exhibiting in this pavilion include Clearwater Tech, Oceanside Glasstile, Cactus Stone & Tile, Aquamatic Cover Systems, Pebble Technology, SonarGuard, AQUA Magazine, WaterShapes, American Shotcrete Association and the National Plasterers Council, just to name a few.
APSP Live Demonstrations
Through a series of Live Demonstrations, attendees will see first-hand the latest pool and spa equipment, materials and techniques — and learn how to use, sell and install them for maximum profitability and effectiveness. Live Demonstrations will be presented by Pristiva, AQUAFIN, Zodiac Pool Systems-Jandy Products, Cover-Pools, Dal-Tile, Vac-Alert Industries, the APSP Service Council, the National Plasterers Council and the APSP Builders Council. Topics include salt water pool chemistry, decorative coatings, control systems, pumps and hydraulics, safety systems, suction entrapment, as well as a plastering and shotcrete demonstration. Located in booth #2210, the Live Demonstrations are sponsored by the APSP Builders and Service Councils.
Exhibitor Product Clinics
By attending “Outdoor Room Innovations with Propane,” in booth #856, the Propane Education & Research Council will teach how to use propane when building or renovating beyond the reach of natural gas and what it can do for energy efficiency and environmental performance levels. Attendees will leave with the latest information on the many outdoor applications for gas equipment, such as fire features, outdoor cooking and partnering with solar energy. The clinic will be held at 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm on November 16-17, and at 12:30 pm on November 18.
