ASA Nozzleman Education Courses present an overview on placement technique, finishing, curing, testing, equipment and safety as it relates to the nozzleman and the shotcrete process. This course also helps to prepare individuals for participation in the ACI Nozzleman Certification program. National Plasterers Council

 

NPC's Start-Up Technician Certification Course


Tuesday, November 16 | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Cost: $440 Member / $635 Non-Member (Early Bird) | Includes Super Pass

This 8-hour program will certify an individual in the National Plasterers Council industry method of properly starting up the water chemistry and care of a newly surfaced swimming pool and/or spa.

The course will cover six primary areas:

  1. Basics of Plastering Materials & Applications
  2. Basics of Pool Water Chemistry
  3. Review of Various Test Kits & Testing Methods
  4. General Start-up Procedures & Timeline
  5. Understanding the Langelier Saturation Index
  6. Identification of Common Problems & Solutions
